My name is Shepherd Boggs, I am 27 years old and have been taking photos for the past 8 years. I graduated with a degree in photography from the University of North Florida in 2006. Photography has become a great outlet for me to express my love of nature and water. Being an avid surfer, I am naturally drawn to water and its surroundings. Many of my photos are of randomly occurring acts that can not be recreated. These heads up photos always keep me on my toes and hopefully out of harms way. Immersing myself into nature gives me not only an opportunity to take photos that I find pleasing, but also gives me peace of mind. The drive to take exotic photos has taken me around the world, shooting surfing and nature photos. These experiences in other cultures have changed me in a very positive way, giving me a chance to realize how fortunate I am to live in the United States and to have also found a passion within me. I hope my photos express my passion in an accurate way and give you a little more insight to how beautiful our world can be if you stop and look for a moment.
